NCGA 2-Person Qualifier at
Mackenzie GC at Haggin Oaks (Par 72)

March 27, 2009

New this year is that we can send two teams to this event.  (Should have been three, but that's another story.)

Randy Wolff and Alcinda Wolff won the right to represent hpGA in the NCGA Associate Club Four-Ball Net Event by posting a score of eight-under par.

Joining them as representatives of hpGA are Ken Findley and Don Myers who shot seven-under.

Dan Hubiak and Phil Hermanson will be the alternates.

This qualifier was held during the Mackenzie 2-person better ball tournament and those results are shown here.  Some teams' scores are different because of the handicap index limitations for the qualifier.

Congratulations Randy, Alcinda, Ken and Don, and good luck at the next stage, which will be held in May.  Randy and Alcinda will play at Haggin Oaks' Mackenzie course.  Ken and Don will play at Mather.

Local Qualifier

Ken and Don made it through to Monterey!  They finished third at Mather with a fine 62.  Their next stop is Poppy Hills on June 29 and then Spyglass Hill the next day.  Congrats!

Alcinda and Randy did not fare so well at Haggin Oaks.  It took a 64 to get through, and they were a little higher than that.  But, we're sure they will be back next year!
