Paradise Valley (Par 72)

May 17, 2009

The second HP West Coast Team Challenge was not as successful for hpGA as the first!  We were basically blown out of the water.  Only our anchor team of Steve Hopson and Bill Sheaffer were able to gather more than half a point.

Steve shot a 75 and Bill shot a two-under par 70!

The format was four-ball match play.  In each match all players played their own ball and the team score was the lowest net score of the two players.  The hole was won by the team with the lower net score.  One point was available for winning the front nine, one for the back nine, and one for winning over the 18 holes.  Half points were awarded for ties.

There were prizes for closest-to-the-pin on all the par-3s, but this reporter can't recollect any of them, since he was busy crying in his beer.

Congratulations to all for coming out and representing our club!
