NCGA Net Amateur Event2008 Schedule
EligibilityYou must have a numeric index on the June hpGA index report not to exceed 36.4 (men) and 40.4 (women). FormatIndividual Stroke Play. Play will be 100% of the course handicap at all levels. The player's June 1 index will be used for Club qualifying. Course handicaps for women will be adjusted accordingly. Club and Sectional qualifying will be 18 holes, Championship Proper will be 36 holes, 18 per day. There will be 112 players in the Championship Proper. The number of players at each Sectional qualifying site will be determined by the number of entries. The number of qualifiers from each Sectional site will be determined by the NCGA and will not be known until the day of Sectional qualifying. hpGA Club Qualifier FormatWe will again be combining our Net Amateur Qualifying with a regularly scheduled hpGA tournament, in this case, at Plumas Lake G&CC. There are no flights for the Net Amateur Club or Sectional qualifying so lowest scores win. Our club is allowed to send three players to Sectional Qualifying. Play will be in flights at the Championship Proper. We will use the USGA suggested method of breaking ties, using the last 9 holes net, the last 6, the last 3, the last hole, etc.... FeeshpGA Qualifier $5 (for NCGA tournament fund) plus regular Plumas Lake tourney fee. NCGA Qualifier $60 each. * Championship $120 each. * * NCGA Qualifier / Championship - all of the fees will be paid from the hpGA's NCGA tournament fund. No ShowsStandard NCGA policy also applies to hpGA Qualifier: Any player who does not show up at the course and does not notify the course or the event coordinator will be suspended from playing in any hpGA / NCGA Qualifying events for ONE YEAR (includes same event the following year). |
