Mackenzie GC at Haggin Oaks (Par 72)

Another lovely day on the golf links! In fact, a gorgeous day, albeit a little windy!

A couple of newcomers to hpGA made their first tournament as a team a success by winning the Low Net prize. Mike Whittemore and Bill Boom combined for a score of 12-under par. Bill had a fabulous day by shooting a net 60 using his regular course handicap. (Men play this tournament at 90% of their course handicap, women 95%.)

Last year's winning score was 61, but this year that only got Bill Sheaffer and Sung Oh the first place prize in the first flight. They ham & egged it real well.

Randy and Alcinda Wolff combined to win the second flight with a fine 7-under par, helped along by Alcinda's birdie, net eagle on the 2nd hole.

All in all, everyone seemed to have a great time, although the round was very long thanks to another tournament in front of us. Yes, that's right, hpGA was not holding up the course this time! Thanks to all that came out and,
